The Logistics Specialist - 1 will be a dynamic, self-motivated, and success driven person with an interest in working in the areas of operations, load planning, carrier relations, and customer relations.

This position is located at our company headquarters in Plant City, FL.
There are a few schedules available either Monday through Friday or Thursday through Monday day shift positions.
These positions will also be included in a rotating night and weekend coverage schedule.
Responsibilities:
Track shipments, schedule appointments, communicate updates and schedules with customers and carriers Assist and learn negotiation of carrier rates and schedules Assist and learn load planning and work through challenges to pick-up and deliver shipments with carriers and customers Deliver exceptional customer service to our carriers, customers, and drivers Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs Job Type:
