We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Runner to join our team.
As a Parts Runner, you will be responsible for delivering parts and materials to various locations.
This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van or delivery vehicle to transport parts and materials to designated locations - Pick up and deliver parts from suppliers and vendors - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups - Assist with loading and unloading of parts and materials - Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues that may arise - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Adhere to company policies and procedures Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or courier preferred - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus - Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements - Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Strong attention to detail Note:
This position may require occasional lifting of heavy parts or materials, so physical strength and stamina are important.
