Position:
Logistics Agent Are you a motivated professional with exceptional technical and organizational skills? We are seeking a Logistics Agent to play a vital role in our growing business.
While three or more years of logistics experience is advantageous, we welcome the right candidate with the drive to succeed in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
Interface directly with suppliers, customers, third-party transportation companies, and NuCycle personnel to coordinate inbound and outbound material loads.
Organize and maintain records and reports related to shipping, receiving, customer service logs, and safety records, contributing to the tracking of performance data.
Safely and efficiently execute assigned processes, meeting daily logistics activities.
Ensure compliance with specific customer requirements, generating internal reports, and facilitating customized transportation needs.
Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to address customer concerns related to transportation and other logistical matters.
Assist in real-time tracking of trailer assets.
Perform data entry tasks with precision.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiently use Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Additional
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule transportation for materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels and contribute to effective warehouse management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve operational issues.
Implement and enforce safety protocols in logistics operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or higher education.
3
years of experience in logistics, customer service, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory management (preferred).
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (preferred).
Experience in processing shipments using UPS and FedEx software.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
Ability to analyze and interpret data to improve logistics processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
