Performs warehouse functions in order to fulfill customer orders while following preferred work methods and company policies. Maintains the warehouse in a safe and sanitary manner.
Works in one of the functional areas of our warehouse, which include:
Selection
Checking
Loading
Labeling
Putaway/Replenishment
Receiving
Operates MHE (material handling equipment including double pallet jacks, reach lifts, R/C or pacer, etc.)
Completes pre and post trip inspections on material handling equipment
Reports all damages and equipment failures to supervisor immediately
Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner as outlined in the Preferred Work Methods
Ensures that warehouse is maintained in a sanitary manner according to Company standards
Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
HSD or GED or 1-3 months related experience or training
Work is heavy in nature - must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
Must be able to work in extremely warm (dry warehouse) and extremely cold conditions (cooler and freezer)
Must be able to effectively communicate (including reading, writing and speaking) in English
Previous experience with material handling equipment is preferred
