Warehouse Team Leader

Job ResponsibilitiesIs responsible for all phases of facility storage and shipping operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsible forsupervision of Finished / Raw Material Product Handlers assigned to shift.
Hands-on leader that direct shift Logistics associates.
Primary after hours customer contact.
Monitors and manages shipping functions.
Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain products data such as types, quantities and specifications of products.
Coordinates warehouse activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Reviews warehouse reports and resolves warehouse, inventory and shipping receiving problems to minimize costs andensure proper logistics operations.
Inspects warehouse equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
Reviews work instructions, working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Compiles, stores and retrieves warehouse data from PICS (SAP) and logistics systems.
Maintaining a high level of motivation in the warehouse, housekeeping and safety.
Ensures that the Site Quality policy, Operational procedures, GMP, Safety policies and High standards of performance aremaintained at all times.
Must be able to build a strong working relationship with all Plant City departments.
Relieves Material Handlers for breaks and meals.
Ensure there is coverage for vacations.
Ensures that all materials to fulfill the work orders are present for their shift and 4 hours of oncoming shift.
Work with other Logistics Team Leaders to conduct monthly warehouse meetings.
Work with other department Team Leaders to conduct daily team meetings and weekly safety meetings.
Monitors all Quality Documentation ensuring all is in compliance.
Works with new team members to train on all logistics procedures and equipment.
Responsible for ensuring warehouse data is correctly entered into PICS.
Responsible for monitoring sales order monitor to ensure on-time pickups of customer orders.
Responsible for administering performance evaluation for Material Handlers.
Initiate action for food safety issues All other duties as assigned.
Skills/QualificationsSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Associate's degree or higher preferred; Relevant work experience considered.
Must have 3 to 5 years demonstrated (a) leadership abilities (b) developmental abilities (c) motivational abilities (d) decisionmaking abilities Possess strong communication skills.
Able to manage and measure work assignments.
Must have conflict management skills.
Action oriented and results driven.
Must be customer focused.
Possess time management skills.
Strong computer skills.
Must have flexibility in schedule and work assignment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
